Amigos, este é o pôster/ilustração que criei como uma homenagem a algumas das lendas deste grande esporte chamado boxe.
Levei cerca de 19 horas no total para finalizar este projeto, desde a pesquisa para encontrar referências dos pugilistas até a escolha da paleta de cores, a definição das fontes que dão vida ao título e a decisão sobre o estilo artístico a explorar. Cada detalhe foi pensado para destacar a grandiosidade desses atletas e do esporte que eles representam.
De cima para baixo, da esquerda para a direita, estão no pôster: Sugar Ray Leonard, Rocky Marciano, Sugar Ray Robinson, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather Jr. e Manny Pacquiao. Todos eles marcaram época no pugilismo. Claro, sei que faltaram muitos outros gigantes que fazem parte do Hall da Fama do boxe, mas o espaço era limitado!
Minha paixão por este esporte vem de longe. Desde criança, nas madrugadas, eu assistia às lutas do Mike Tyson com meu pai. A expectativa para ver o "Iron Mike" liquidar os adversários em segundos era indescritível (e, geralmente, valia a pena esperar! ). Mais tarde, veio o Popó, representando o Brasil e fazendo história, e o interesse continuou crescendo. Outros pugilistas eu conheci por meio de vídeos e pesquisas históricas. O boxe é um esporte repleto de histórias incríveis e de atletas lendários.

Friends, this is the poster/illustration I created as a tribute to some of the legends of this great sport called boxing.
It took me around 19 hours in total to complete this project, from researching references for the boxers to selecting the color palette, choosing the fonts that bring the title to life, and deciding on the artistic style to explore. Every detail was carefully thought out to highlight the greatness of these athletes and the sport they represent.
From top to bottom, left to right, the poster features: Sugar Ray Leonard, Rocky Marciano, Sugar Ray Robinson, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Manny Pacquiao. All of them made history in the world of boxing. Of course, I know that many other giants who are part of boxing's Hall of Fame were left out, but space was limited!
My passion for this sport goes way back. As a child, I would stay up late at night with my dad to watch Mike Tyson's fights. The anticipation of seeing "Iron Mike" take down his opponents in seconds was indescribable (and it was usually worth the wait! ). Later, Popó came along, representing Brazil and making history, and my interest kept growing. I discovered other boxers through videos and historical research. Boxing is a sport full of incredible stories and legendary athletes.
